Cinderella Man

My father was a wonderful man. He was lovable, honest, kind and caring. He was a great husband, amazing boxer and a terrific father. He was just not a father to me; he was my friend and my hero.

I don't remember a lot from my childhood but I remember the day, I stole something from the butcher. One of my friends was sent away by his parents because they had no food. From preventing this to happen to me, I decided to steal salami to feed my family. Sadly, I was caught. My dad immediately marches me down to the butcher to return the stolen salami, and to apologize to the butcher. He makes me promise that I will never again take what does not belong to me. After my promises, my dad made a promise of his own- that he will never allow his family to be divided came.
