Feminist model The feminist model was established on the principals that authority must be equivalent in the clinical correlation and demands the client's concentrated contribution through all stages. Females need to be measured as equals to males in the realm of incomes and how culture understands them centered on their principles and standards and their offerings (Corey, Schneider, & Patrick, 2011, p. 23). Women are valued as being equal to men in society and therefore can provide the same for themselves and their family. They can work and become financially independent through equal salaries as male providers. Females can contribute to their community and make essential resolutions that affect society. Females are more protected from male crimes. Marriages are affected by the feminism model for men feel threatened by the woman's dominance. Marriage has become a power struggle. Men are less likely to protect women for a woman is considered equal. The model is merely designed for the female population.

Social constructionist model The social constructionist model reiterates the principled decision-making method as a collaborating and collective route instead of a single process. The primary emphasis is on the characteristics of decision-making in analysis with the focus of social matters concerning negotiations (Corey, Schneider, & Patrick, 2011, p. 23). The model requires group collaboration among all individuals involved in the client's therapy. More individual's feedback enables a broader view of prospect ideas to use in therapeutic fashions. The disadvantage to utilizing this model is that the client's decisions and opinions are not the only focus of their therapy progression. The client could begin to feel that their confidentiality is at risk and be hesitant to provide some details that are vital to their well-being.

Transcultural integrative model The transcultural integrative model is more centered on those from different cultures, and it has an emphasis on the essentials that encircle cultural influences, which subgroups face in a social environment (Corey, Schneider, & Patrick, 2011, p. 23).
