Prayer at Sporting Events

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion" stated by the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment of the Constitution. Organized prayer at sporting events is unfair and violates the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment and should not be happening.

Yes, I am aware that the First Amendment states freedom of speech and religion, meaning yes you can voice what you believe in. It is unfair though to pray at a sporting event favoring one religion. What about the people in the stands who follow Hinduism or some of the 1.3 billion people who practice Islam or Buddhist, the list can go on. Even if the stands are more than likely mostly filled with one religion doesn't make it okay. Every US citizen has the same rights. If they want to do prayer than make sure that every religion that is practiced by someone at the sporting event is prayed. If that can't happen then don't do it at all. If a certain group wants to pray before a game then they should make a time anyplace and do it together, but not everyone who doesn't believe in that prayer or just doesn't want to shouldn't have to.
