Communication

The greatest gift to mankind is the power of communication. Either verbal or non verbal, as we can communicate, we can share the thoughts feelings sentiments plans goal vision and above all dreams. The language one speak, the moral values one has, gesture and culture and sometimes just the life style one lives in comprise a unique communication bridge of one with the environment. World has shrunk to a playground where people all over the globe is just a few clicks away. The communication and it’s effectiveness has never achieve the stature.

Though communication tools and mediums are modernized and have change the way we live our lives or do our business, there has been too many pitfalls it brings with it. One of the problem of the innovation of new communication is people don’t communicate as how they used to be. Communication between any two individual has been substantially decreased to verbal one where just a phone call or Emails or chatting are given new name to the communication.

It has been said that, communication is more non verbal than verbal, what we speak has less impact to the receiver than what we act or what we show in gesture or body language, so there has been so many communication miss-interpretation and gaps between two ends of communication. If we look at how people do business these days and compare with the scenario even a decade ago then there has been a revolutionary changes. Now there are virtual teams for doing projects and partnerships and mergers don’t matter distance of the geographic or language limits. So people are more open to incorporate the communication tool that science has been offering to the corporate business to the normal people.

The problem arises when the environment cannot up-to-date itself to the pace of globalization. The dynamic pace of the technology has left us wonder about the cross-cultural differences among people, lifestyle and business culture. One crucial thing for the growth of any individual or business is to understand and respect the difference of one with others. The culture of anyone is unique. The perception that one cultivates in a life is definitely different than others. Language and culture does impact one with today’s dynamic world. It can be barrier to some while other may enjoy the different colors of man-kind. The language has been a problem in doing business, basically
