The mongols and Aztecs were similar in that they both collected tribute, while a difference was in womens abilities and how their empires fell .
The Mongol and Aztec empires were different in the roles women played in the empire. In the Mongol empire, women had less restriction. Women could partake in the military, file a divorce from their husband, and could ride horses.While, in the Aztec society, women had no input in their society in a public role aspect. Women in the Aztec culture could've raised children or sold produce and other items in a marketplace. On the other hand, women in the Mongol empire could participate in a public role. With women being allowed to do more things in the Mongol empire. it lead to a thriving economy and making the empire larger and stronger.
The Mongol and Aztec empires were similar because both empires required you to pay them tribute. In Mongol empire, if your area was conquered they had you pay tribute in return not to harm you. In the Aztec empire, the people payed tribute for sacrifices. In their territories they taxed corn, beans, and other produce. Both Empires benefite from getting tribute . In the mongol empire the tribute was used more for government purposes and the Aztecs used the tribute more for religious purpoes
Mongols and Aztecs differed in how their empires fell. Mongols were from central Asia, while the Aztecs were in Mexico. Mongol Empire fell from by internal forces, because after Genghis Khan rules he split the lands between his sons.. The sons fought, which lead to a weaker empire since their was no stability. The Aztecs fell because of an outside intruder. They trusted Cortes and his troops because they believed he was a god. Cortez finally took over the empire after some battles, and after he married a princess named La Malinche. The Mongol Empire started about 1206bc to 1300sbc. Mongols conquered a lot of the land around really extending the empire. The Aztec Empire started from 1325 AD to about 1521 BC.
