* Principles ultimately govern subjective beliefs.
* Universal principles talk about sadness of moral character.
* Unviersal values is something that is admired by all people.
* Intrapersonal value occur when highly personal pull people in a certain direction
* Intepersonal value- occur when an argument is sparked between employees and others.
* Values and behaviour are determined by performance measurement and evaluation
* Values and bottom line are crucial within an organisational culture
* Great leadership states that you must have passion within the organisation or business you are working for.
* Roots of an organisations culture are driven by the founders and cultures of the nation
* Values and basic assumptions really determine what an organisation is about e.g. included can be dress code, ceremonies, meetings
* Values are enduring beliefs, they describe and expect employees
* An organisation's mission statement basically answers one question. How do we intend to win in this business?
* Setting the mission is top managements responsibility.
* A mission cannot, and must not be delegated to anyone except the people ultimately held accountable for it
* In contrast to the creation, everyone in a company should have something to say about its values
* Managers should avoid haphazard approrach to organisational socialisation
* Managers play a key role during the encounter phase
* Organisation can benefit by training new employees to use proactive socialisation behaviours
* Managers should pay attention to the socialisation of diverse employees
