Geography of China

The geography of China helped its early development a lot. The Chinese had

great land, good for agriculture, so they always had a way to get good money by

farming. They were also supplied by things they were geographically impossible to

have because of trading the goods they grew. China was also next to the Pacific

Ocean. That is also great for their land, their trades & their food.

The Chinese, after having all those good things, had to protect themselves and

their money. That is another way their geography helped them by giving them

mountains to make it very hard for intruders to get into China. This made China

very safe. To add to the safety the Chinese added the Great Wall, so no one got

through after that. Defensively, China was mostly safe because of their geography.

China had a lot of things geographically that other countries would wish for.

It will be a lot harder for them to survive without all these features on their land.

Without all their mines, their agriculture and etc. they would not be rich

economically, rich in food and instead of having the worlds biggest population at 1.2

Billion, they would be a lot less. Also, they wouldn't have one of the biggest

countries in the world. Those are the things that mother nature blessed China with.
