Competition Rises In The Day Of The Electronics' Age

This is an article about how electronic retail stores are competing for the customers to make them the number one store. It discusses how there are those cheaper stores that have some good brands but not the best. Then there are those that specialize in just that and have the best. The author's limited subject is about how these stores treat and want to bring in customers to there business.

The author's thesis is to explain what kind of techniques they are taking to bring us, customers into there stores to shop. It is quite interesting to see some of the different things that it takes to get customers brought in.

Short, personal reaction to the article.

I read this article and it seems to be really quite interesting to see from someone else's perspective to see what someone see's when they enter these stores. I have worked for one of these stores that it talks about in the article and I never seemed to think it took this much. Competition is getting harder and harder out there. Personally from my view there are those stores that can be cheaper and get you to come in by offering the one-stop-shop. But when you get to looking for a certain piece of electronics and you can't find anyone to help you or any information about it. This can get quite frustrating. That is why there are those other stores that just specialize in that field of retail. Maybe the customer service isn't always the greatest. But you can usually find someone who knows what the product is and what it does. I personally rather find someone who can help me out a little more and show me out to use it then to go in to a store and not know anything, but save money. A little more money is worth more to someone who doesn't know much about these popular items.
