Gods’ Man
A young man sets out on a journey and encounters a storm finally the sun breaks through and he has a vision in which he begins to paint. He finally lands in a new land where he sees a distant city and begins his way towards it with his painting in hand. Along the way he encounters a man begging and gives him the only money he has and continues on his way. As he enters the city he stops to have some soup in Slick Inn. He is unable to pay for his meal and offers the owner his painting instead. The owner laughs at first but then becomes angry when out of nowhere a tall thin well dressed mysterious man enters the Inn and offers to buy the painting from the owner and ask the young man to see the rest of his work. After see the young man’s work the mysterious man shows him a magical paintbrush that has been known to carry special powers dating back to many famous artists. And all the young man has to do is sign a contract and it will be his. So the young man agrees and signs on the dotted line and in return the man gives him brush and they go their separate ways.
The young man leaves the Inn and heads deeper into the new city with his new brush in hand. He sees many new sites and begins to paint them. A coward begins to gather as he is painting and a wealthy man appears. This man offers to sell the young man’s painting for him and he agrees. The young man follows the wealthy man to an apartment high above the city where he can look out and paint. All the while the young man is there the wealthy man makes him well known and popular and arranges a showing for him. At the showing he is introduced to a beautiful woman to whom he falls for.
The young man begins to paint the young woman when he notices a dollar sign branded onto her right shoulder. He doesn’t know what to think and asks for answer as she laughs in his face and walks away. Heartbroken he leaves and wonders through the city but everywhere he turns he see the wealthy man and the beautiful woman who betrayed him and it drives him mad. He attacks a police officer and is thrown in jail where the wealthy man finds him and bails him out. Only to find a coward of people have gathered to chase him out of the city. At the edge of the city he jumps from a cliff.
When he awakened he sees beautiful sheep herder and she takes him in and aides him back t health. As time goes by he finds himself falling in love again. As their love progress she becomes pregnant and gives birth to a son.
Life couldn’t be better for the young man and woman. Until one day the mysterious tall thin man appears and asks him to fulfill the contract and paint his portrait. The young man agrees and says goodbye to his family and follows the mysterious man to the top of a hill to paint his picture. As he is painting the mysterious man removes a mask to reveal his true for and the young man startled with fear falls from the top of the hill to his death. For under the masked
