Introduction
The proposed in this work is to show the process of creating and manage a Mexican restaurant. The design of a restaurant that seeks to differentiate from the others in the area thanks to characteristics such as quality in the service and, of course, the food offered there but, above all, it is intended to differentiate of its competitors by the use of technology in their operations. This restaurant will specialize in international food of excellent quality and will use the iPads as elements to facilitate the processes in the different channels. These characteristics are the ones that make the difference in front of its competitors, besides generating advantage in terms of times and operations. This feature will give an attractive extra to the restaurant, very different from what is traditionally seen in the area.
We must take into account that if we want to reach an audience with a high purchasing power, we have to offer something different
Mission: In the restaurant we are dedicated to preparing food and beverages of the best quality, always looking to meet the highest demands of customers and offering the best service supported by the benefits offered by technology.
Vision: become the market leader and seek development and expansion opportunities by positioning in the market as one of the best restaurants, being recognized by the taste and quality of food served, as well as for its service, innovation and use of technology.
Company Overview
Jose's Authentic Mexican Restaurant is a project that arose from the idea of using technology in the food sector.
The products that will be offered in the restaurant can be grouped mainly in two groups, which are: foods and drinks, including in the menu the international food. It is intended that the customers that the restaurant serves are middle and upper middle class.
SWOT Analysis:
STRENGTHS: ∙ Good quality in the dishes ∙ Excellent quality in the service ∙ Well-presented dishes, ∙ The use of technology in the Restaurant operations ∙ The restaurant will feature a very nice atmosphere for the guests
OPPORTUNITIES: ∙ The growth of the area in which the restaurant will be established. ∙ The restaurant sector is in growing part of the city ∙ The custom to attend restaurant is booming. ∙ In the city, there is not one restaurant or diners which uses iPads as part of its operations.
THREATS: ∙ Accelerated growth in number of restaurants in the area ∙ There is a great possibility that new restaurants try to imitate the characteristics of Jose's Authentic Mexican Restaurant
WEAKNESS: ∙ New restaurant ∙ Being new, is not known and is not positioned in the minds of the consumers yet ∙ It targets a very specific segment consumers

This is a restaurant that offers international food. It belongs to the service industries, since within this sector the company’s main element is the human capacity to perform physical or intellectual works.
Objectives
Short term: Our goal is the full satisfaction of all our customers, in order to position the restaurant as one of the best in the city. Provide a different and innovative proposal for clients. Medium term: To achieve an expansion to the main cities of the country, improving the quality of the service and the quality of the food offered, always preserving the innovative aspect of the restaurant, as well as having great recognition and positioning in its branch.
Long term: To be recognized nationally and internationally for the quality of the foods offered and for the culture of the service.
This restaurant will offer guests the opportunity to enjoy a high quality international cuisine, as well as offering comfort and excellent service in a very comfortable environment. One of the most important characteristics of this restaurant is that it is not an ordinary restaurant, it will have the peculiarity that it will provide the use of iPads that will not only streamline its operations, but will make it more attractive, innovating in the service and the way of managing the restaurant. The team that will be part of the restaurant will be made up of professionals, both in the gastronomic, administrative, and operational areas, with the aim of maintaining a high quality in all areas.
Product analysis
It has been mentioned previously that the products to be offered in the restaurant are mainly grouped into two: food and beverages. Within the group of foods are: the entrances, main course, and desserts; and within the group of beverages are alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. This restaurant will offer a menu rich in innovation and variety, always flexible to be able to adapt to the preferences of customers. One aspect that was considered very important in the restaurant is the presentation of the dishes, since this is one of the first impressions of quality for the customer. It is intended to delight customers with products that have an excellent presentation, this feature will highlight the delicacy and neatness with which the dishes are made, which will make the customer enjoy a unique experience from which he receives the dish he ordered.
When talking about the restaurant sector can be said that the consumers are extremely demanding and that is why quality in food is a prime factor. The ingredients used will make the dishes be characterized by their freshness and the good handling received from the kitchen staff; the chef will be the person to ensure the correct handling of the ingredients and the quality of the dishes. The menu is also fundamental, this is one of the components that characterize the restaurant.
