Oh, how I love technology! I am, as some would call, a nerd and proud of it. I think that technology is a wonderful thing that has changed everyone's life. There are so many different types of technology that do so many things for so many people.

My favorite piece of technological entertainment is the computer. I have a computer in just about every room in my house and more than one in several. Although most of my life I have been a PC kid I have recently discovered the world of MAC. I have been learning and improving my skills on a MAC. Although they are quite different there are many things I like better about the MAC. They are very simple to use for someone that is not very computer literate. I love the fact that it is not a Microsoft product. It is much more stable than anything that Microsoft has ever dreamed of making. Although the Macs that I have are older I have noticed that they are still faster that there equivalent PC counterpart. Software wise I like the fact that if a new Operating System comes out most of the time with a MAC your computer will run it no problem, but with Microsoft you nearly always have to upgrade your system or buy a new one because the new OS is a resource hog. I have also noticed the new OS are loaded with features. Also you do not have to worry as much about resources because Macs are not affected like PC's are. I have been using my MAC on the Internet for almost six months without any virus software and have not had any problems. If I tend to do that with a PC, it would be infected within a week.

nothing around me would be here if it weren't for technology. I am thankful for all the luxuries that technology has allowed us and look forward to seeing what the future brings.
