I quietly sat down at the dinning room table next to him. He was so focused on writing on the white piece of paper to notice my presence. As he scribbled words on the white piece of paper it was then that I got to thinking what kind of person my boyfriend, Alex, really was. When we met he had already own three businesses, a house, and an expensive BMW. That was not what got me interested in him though. I was intrigued by the way he carried himself. He walked into the restaurant holding himself strong and looking astounding. We got talking and had a well-educated and mature conversation on death. He also wants a career change from owning his own business to working at a BMW dealership. As he wrote the resume more I realized how much this meant to him. He wanted to make sure every part of his career history and wording was just perfect. It came to me then that he was a well-rounded and amazing individual.
I am still growing up and learning but being with Alex pushes me to do better. When I was in high school I did just the minimum to get by. Since I have met Alex though I am doing my very best at everything. Whether it is at school or at my job I am always trying to put in 100%. By doing so I am learning so much about myself and how the little extra effort you put in gives you back so much more. I only hope that one day I will be as passionate about
