A Walk to Remember

The movie A Walk to Remember is somewhat like the book except for a few differences. The movie relates to the morals and values of Life and Death class in many ways. The movie A Walk to Remember is a perfect selection to teach us all how to be a better person and see the good side of other individuals.

For example, the movie shows how a boy, Landyn, falls in love with a girl, Jamie, that is a complete opposite of him. Because they are opposites they learn from each other and fill in each others weaknesses. Jamie sees the good in Landyn and brings the good out of him. Together, Jamie and Landyn help each other through the hard times that they are about to overcome.

When Landyn finds out that Jamie is dying of cancer, he shows denial and becomes upset. Jamie has already faced the facts and is accepting her cancer. Jamie now has the responsibility to help Landyn through the grief process. Landyn shows the signs and goes through the steps of the grief process with Jamie's help. This makes Landyn like her even more which makes it harder to except the fact that she is not going to be with him for long.

In conclusion, the movie A Walk to Remember exemplifies morals and values that guide a person throughout their life. Morals and values differ from individual to individual. This movie is also an example of the grief process that each and every person will go through at least one in their life. This movie is a good example of coping with happiness and grief that we all face in our life.
