This memorandum gives a detailed description of how to ace an interview as a complete professional. The recruiters and the hiring managers are usually looking for a candidate who best fits the job position in terms of their skills and experience. It is so very important for a candidate to fit into the culture of the company. The candidate must consider the following subtle ways to shine in an interview.
Firstly, the candidate must be punctual for an interview. Showing up late for an interview seems like disrespecting the recruiters. The recruiters must be informed beforehand if the candidate is late under any circumstances. The first impression is always the best one. Hence it is very important to be polite and humble to the recruiters. A firm handshake and a pleasant smile explains our confidence. Never look annoyed even if you are made to wait by the recruiters. Be nice to everyone you meet. Never be rude to anyone no matter what. These might be little things but they surely have a huge impact on your interview process.
Always make clear and small talk. The recruiters do not have a lot of time to listen to everything we speak. The recruiters are actually looking for candidates who can combine intelligence, logic and creativity with practicality. Hence it is very important to stay clear and precise. However, if the interview takes place over a meal, it is very important to keep the conversation going with the recruiter. This is when the candidate should actually grab the opportunity to talk and give the recruiter reasons to like you. The candidate could pick any topic like his/her hobby or interest.
Always ask questions. The recruiters would definitely love it when the candidate is curious for information. He could ask any question related to the job position that (s)he is interviewing for, the company, the future of the role, the projects in the company, etc. Once you are done with the interview, ask the recruiter
