Adidas ltd is a major German sports apparel manufacturer, part of the Adidas Group, consisting of Reebok sportswear company, Taylormade golf company, Maxfli golf balls, and Adidas golf. Adidas is the second largest sportswear manufacturer in the world. The company's clothing and shoe designs typically feature three parallel stripes, and this same motif is incorporated into Adidas's current official logo.
The current mainstream marketing slogan for Adidas is "Impossible is Nothing". Adidas aim to consistently present the adidas attitude "Impossible is Nothing" in a relevant way to their consumers. For Erich Stamminger, member of the Executive Board of adidas responsible, " "Impossible is nothing" is the concept behind our brand positioning "forever sport" that clearly and emotionally communicates our passion for sport." He added, "As an athlete you always strive to go further, break new ground, surpass your limits. So do we as a brand, to achieve our mission to be the leading sports brand in the world."

Adidas's worldwide line of commercials, showcase events that are truly impossible, such as Josй + 10 with two boys in a run down lot gathering many world football stars to play a pick-up game. These stars include present players like Steven Gerrard, Juan Romбn Riquelme, Zinedine Zidane, David Beckham, Oliver Kahn, Frank Lampard, Arjen Robben, Alessandro Nesta, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Raъl, and Kakб. However the commercials do not only focus on football; other TV ads feature long-distance runner Haile Gebrselassie. Besides athletes other celebrities such as the pop singer Robbie Williams contribute to promotion of this brand by wearing Adidas clothing in concerts and other events. Adidas, like Nike, is also very active at sponsoring clubs and events such as London 2012 Olympic Games.
