The first magazine is Better Homes and Gardens, January 2006. I am a gardener and I read this magazine monthly. The ad I selected is a full page ad for Eggo whole wheat pancakes and it is on the back inside cover. The page is full of a huge picture of a stack of three steaming pancakes with syrup dripping off the sides of the pancakes onto the plate. They look very appetizing and tasty. This would probably be considered a minimalist ad because all that is on the whole page is the very large three pancakes on a plate, a box with the Eggo name on it and copy that reads; This is how our fiber stacks up. New Eggo nutrigrain pancakes now made with whole wheat, whole wheat and fiber have never been so warm and fluffy. I would buy these. The product is a food product, pancakes, target market is everyone more likely the wife who would usually purchase the product. The demographics could be anyone who eats breakfast and pancakes are cheap. The psychological need would be hunger, desire, gratification, satisfaction. The claims and appeals that they used were good health because they are made with whole wheat and fiber which is good for your health and Eggo's pancakes taste good. The colors that they used were a glossy paper, golden brown pancakes and glimmering syrup dripping off the sides of the pancakes. Good colors. The underlying message is that these are good and healthy for you and your family and taste good too. I think the ad was successful and would buy the product.

When the magazine is opened up it is on both pages. If I was in the target audience I would buy it if I had the funds. The demographics are soon to be married women of monetary means to afford a trip like this. Sandals also offers an all-inclusive wedding package offering not only the honeymoon but they will give you a complimentary wedding with lots of extras. The psychographics and colors are a beautiful azure blue, coral pink, and green and if you have ever been to the Caribbean just the colors make you want to go back. The ad makes the resort look very romantic and exotic. The claims and appeals could appeal to the desire to
