Aerospace Engineering

First of all, I would like to say that Aerospace Engineering is my major, so I had heard a little bit about what the lady talked about before. She basically went over the different aspects of Aerospace Engineering.

I liked the majority of this presentation. The presenter explained many things that interested me. She told us about how there are now three different types of Aerospace. There is the basic airplane design part, space design part, and then a satellite part of Aerospace. The section that interests me the most is the basic airplane section. The slide show gave us all ideas of what the future of aerospace is going to be about. There were many different types of airplanes and wing designs presented to us on this slide show. The pictures that were presented on the slide show were amazing. We were told about all of the different kinds of experimental test sites we have on the campus. There is a flight simulator on the bottom floor of the Bright building, and there is a wind tunnel at the airport.

There was also a small amount of items about the presentation that I disliked. The part that I disliked the most was the part that told us about the class requirements. First of all, since Aerospace is my major, this section of the presentation scared me. It made this major look so difficult and hard that it made me not want to be in this major anymore. Also, there were sections in the presentation that concerned spacecraft. I personally am not too interested in spacecraft or spacecraft design, so this section of the presentation really didn't appeal to me.
