Alcohol Case

On Tuesday, September 25, I went to the Alcohol Awareness Event in Richardson Ballroom. The event was called "A Shot of Reality" and two men hosted it. I didn't think I would, but I really enjoyed the event. The hosts were funny and involved the crowd, which was great. They gave good advice and I learned a lot! They told us all about the effects of alcohol and how alcohol affects everyone around us. The main point of the show was to get us to not drink, but they figured that some college students wouldn't listen, so they gave us tips to drink safer and smarter. They told us to always have someone with us who was not going to drink and to never go alone anywhere if we were drunk. They also told us the health effects of alcohol. Alcohol can cause liver damage and even death. Alcohol can also lead to sexual assault, fights, and abuse. Overall, nothing good comes from alcohol and we shouldn't be drinking because it's ILLEGAL.
