"Our American Heritage and Our Responsibility for Preserving It"
Our Country was founded on sound principles. These principles were constructed to preserve our natural rights. These rights include free speech, free press and the ability to think for one's self. America was established as a proud nation, who's destiny to become great was undeniable.
In today's society, many are questioning the value of our voices and the respect our rights are given. Our nation is experiencing a massive cry out from its citizens demanding their freedom. I believe our government has forgotten its American Heritage. Being the leaders of our nation, they should understand the importance of valuing each individual citizen's views and opinions. As a democracy, our nation was built for the people, by the people and that's what we all need to realize.
If we all forget our American Heritage, and deny our responsibility to preserve it then what would be left for our children. It is our government's responsibility to guarantee that each citizen feels respected and are provided with what they need to be a substantial citizen. Our government must help keep pride levels high in our American homes. As citizens, we must make sure our government is protecting us and stay proud of our country.
WE ALL our responsible for instilling our American values and heritage into our children, so that they can pass them down to their children. We must keep the values alive. This may include vivid history lessons or storytelling.
Our heritage is truly all we have left that is our own. That's why we must preserve it. If we don't America will not be what our forefathers intended it to be: A safe-haven for those who valued their own ideals and differences and those of others.
