Anne Frank vs. Elie Wiesel
The holocaust is known as one of the most terrible, horrific and devastating events in the world. The holocaust was rained by the German and Adolph Hitler, during the holocaust they captures and tortured millions of Jews including Elie Wiesel and Anne Frank. Anne Frank and Elie Wiesel were both young, in the middle of their childhoods when the holocaust began. These two people had suffered through the terrible events of the Holocaust, and wrote about their experiences then shared it with the world. Their stories have many similarities but still have a few, differences.
Anne Frank and Elie Wiesel had one major similarity. Firstly, Elie was almost 15 when he and his family were arrested by and sent to a concentration camp. In the book Night Elie tells how he was tortured at a young age and he always stayed by his father, because he was so young. On the other hand Anne Frank was only thirteen years old when her and her family went into hiding to escape. This show that during the holocaust the Germans didn't not take any age into consideration.
Although they both wrote about their experiences, Elie wrote a novel called "Night" after he had tolerated all of the pain and suffering giving from the Nazis. Anne wrote what she was going through in her diary until two days before she and her family had been captured. Anne and her family were in hiding for two years until they were captured by the Gestapo. But on the other hand, Elie's family didn't hide from the Nazis. Night" was written almost 10 years later and Anne told her story through her diary. Frank and Wiesel novels had the same concept but different story and experiences
