Our Class watched the movie April Morning. I t was a very good movie. The movie was about a war between colonists and the British. This war started because the king would tax the colonist on goods. However, the colonists thought that this was unfair because it was taxation without representation. The setting was in Boston, Lexington on April 18 1776. The movie showed the life of a fifteen year old boy. That went to war and had lost his father in the war. It was mostly about this one particular family and how this one character Adam becomes a man. The movie mainly shows what happened up to the Revolution and a little bit into the Revolution.

Solomon Chandler also said "the Kings idea of peace is Slavery." He means that the king thinks that there is no peace without slavery.

Fighting for the war is a big step into becoming a man because he risked his life to fight for his country. That shows that he is very brave and he can do what he sets his mind to. Also, he shows courage because he risked his life while others would not even bother to. Adam faced the danger and fear and fought for what he believed in.
