1. How would you handle a client who goes against your ethnical beliefs? I would put aside my beliefs and differences to help the client the best I could. If any problems occur, I would refer them to another agency that can help.
2. What will you do to improve and continue your education in your field? To improve my education I would take any training classes offered and also renew my licenses and stay on top of new news, regulations, and rules.
3. How will you maintain and keep accurate and complete records of your clients? To e maintain and keep accurate records of my clients I will double check the information and keep copies of everything on file. A copy would be filed in the computer and in a log book of client record. The records would be updated every year.
4. How would you respond to witnessing child abuse at a facility? If I witnessed child abuse at a facility I would report it immediately and give all the details of what I seen.
5. Tell me about a case you worked on that you felt you were effective. I worked with a struggling mother of two kids. They needed help getting settled down here in Florida were they recently moved. They received food and housing assistance and I was also able to get the kids signed up in a Christmas program so that they would receive presents for Christmas. They were so thankful for all the help.
6. What types of clients are hard for you to work with? The client that would be hard for me to work with would be the client that doesn't want to help themselves. They want others to provide for them and don't try to better their life.
7. How do you determine to abide by "duty to warn" or "duty to protect"? Duty to protect is very important to me because the client's safety is number one.
8. What does confidentiality mean to you and how will you maintain it? Confidentiality means that information shared by the client will not be given out to anyone else and it's kept safe. All files of the client will be safe were no one but those who need to look at it see them.
9. If a custodial parent asked for the child's medical records what would you say and do? I would first find out what the reason for asking for the records are and then check to make sure it is ok for that parent to receive them. If I don't know then I would ask them to get proof from
