The people who were affected after the tsunami were the population of southeast Asia. The population we are talking about here are children, specifically orphaned children. Some reports estimate up to 35,000 orphaned children in the region, children who have lost both their parents and homes.

The tsunami hit most of southeast Asia including India, Thailand, Indonesia and Sri Lanka
3 - Thing
A tsunami was caused by a enormous underground earthquake which registered 9.0 on the rictor scale. A tsunami is a huge wall of water caused by the sudden shift of the ocean bed. This tsunami started just off the coast of Banda Aceh, Indonesia sending huge walls of water in all directions. In the aftermath of the tsunami many children were left orphaned and homeless. Many unsavory types of people have kidnapped children and are selling them in black market adoption agencies and some for sex slaves for pedophiles.
4 - Reason
There is no real reason for the tsunami to hit were it did. Some people call it fate others have a harsher term in population control. The reason for the child trafficking in the are is of little surprise. Indonesia and that part of southeast Asia has been known for its underage brothels and black market adoption agencies. After the tsunami up to as many as 35,000 children were left orphaned giving child traffickers many more opportunities to make a profit.
5 - Time
The tsunami took place on December 26, 2004 in the morning hours.
