The bus that never comes
This is a funny story that happened to me two years ago in Brazil. That year we had gone to Brazil with my parents, my brother with his girlfriend and his sister, we were 6 in total.
One afternoon we decided to go to Balneario Camboriu because my brother’s girlfriend’s sister didn’t know Balneario Camboriu because it was her first time in Brazil. My parents decided to bring us to the “interplayas way”, this is the longest road to reach Camboriu, but there was a problem, we were 6 and in the car and can only 5 people could go.
So with my brother, who already knew this road so bored, because you only go through a lot of beaches and the only thing you can do is pick up sea shells, we said: "We are going to go by bus ". When it was time to leave, they got into the car and left. My brother and I went to the bus stop to wait for the bus. We were waiting for the bus for about 20 minutes when the bus arrived. The bus began to go places that we didn’t know and my brother and I began to worry until after a while the bus went through a place that we knew. Then we recently began to be calm. After about 30 minutes of travelling, we reached Balneario Camboriu. And here the first problem began here; we had to meet in a city with a lot of people, where no one of us had mobile phone. So we started walking through places that they can be there and after few minutes walking, we found them. We did sightseeing around the city, we went to a restaurant to eat fish and when it was time to go back my dad said "get 6 in the car, no problem" and it wasn’t a good idea so we said "we aren’t in Argentina, the police will give us a traffic ticket” and there my father came into his senses.
So my brother and I decided to return like we had arrived, by bus. We had been reaching to the bus station when we saw a bus that went out to where but we didn’t run because we are too far but we didn’t make problem because it was early and other bus are going to come.
And our thinking was wrong, we read a sign saying the timetable and were the last, but not satisfied with that, we went to the ticket office to ask, and there they told us it is the last and the other recently left out at 6am! My brother and me looked at each other saying "why didn’t we return with them?"
