This world isn’t new to forms of bullying; big or small. And the saddest thing to see is the victim be bullied, and to see bystanders just watching the injustice. And this problem just continues to stay as years go by and generations go by. Now throughout those years the bully is punished for their actions. And sometimes that person isn’t punished. But if the bully is punished, do you think the bystanders should be punished? In my opinion, bystanders should not be punished. I will explain my reasoning in many ways.

Firstly, I think punishment should not be applied because past dictators. Dictators in history are very similar to bullies. Accept their is one major difference. Dictators have way more power. Dictators can take, kill, and do whatever they want and to whoever they want and it was shown in many ways throughout history. Some examples is Adolf Hitler, and Kim Jong-un. Now if you are a citizen in a nation that has a dictator as a leader. You witness him commit injustice to other citizens, there really isn't much they can do. Because in situations like that simply saying something against that dictator can get you and your family killed. So in situations like that I think bystanders shouldn’t be punished due to the physical harm side effects to them doing something against bullying.

Secondly, I think punishment should not be applied because of other negative aftereffects. For example, if there are students in a class and someone is getting bullied and the kids just watch, they don’t deserve to be punished. I believe they shouldn’t be punished because in that situation, that injustice can be very easily stopped by telling a teacher or parents but, their has been situations where the bully would start to harass the one who told on them. And now since you involved yourself you are now a victim.

Finally, I think punishment should not be applied because it is simply none of their business to involve themselves. Because if a bystander is minding his business living out his day peacefully and he witnessed a crime against another living person that had nothing to do with him. And he has no connection to the crime what so ever, he should not be punished for a crime he did not commit or even connected to. Why should that person be punished for not risking their own life and health or their loved ones life and health?

In conclusion, bullying is a huge problem that our world is certainly not new to it. It has
