The issue of bullying may seem like something that shouldn't be taken seriously, and it is quite something we all seem to turn away. However, think about if you were to place yourself in the shoes of the victim, the issue in fact is not a joke but surreal serious. Bullying is indeed apart of modern society. In any event knowing the psychological effects bullying can cause, and that suicides are often becoming a result from it; fitting into how common it is in schools and in everyday life preventive ways to stop or decrease bullying should be taken for these matters.

Bullying goes on everyday all around us, it has and is a major problem in today's society. Schools all around the world every year give out supportive help and consequences to those students and victims who are involved. However what difference does it make, as technology takes a part advancing consistently. Becoming easier for kids to bully 'undetected' with no trace, cyber-bullying is definitely the new bullying. Instead of the physical violence, it is now emotional and mental again making it easier to be hidden. Bullying is now more than ever reaching new heights' everyday. For example: two groups of people somewhat differ from one another, they both get very defensive as they claim whatever issues they may have and which one may be superior than the other, or worse than the other. The conflict from the disagreements lead to offensive messages and black mailing, thus later leading to someone to self -harm or the physical violence with that other group of people.

The supposition of bullying no matter what method is used (physical, mental or emotional) in reality it takes a lot on the human body to intake and with, bulchildren it later resorts self harm when they are the one whose the bully. If they are called fat they may starve themselves. If they are called skinny they then try to gain weight. Either way they could hurt themselves physically or kill them selves (suicides) trying to make do to "fit in" to close out the torture of being bullied or that bully alone to someone. As a community, we need to do something to stop bullying. For anyone it all starts with a person who can stand up for what is right and knows they can tell a trusted adult about the bullying situation. If anyone at all thinks to themselves 'its none of my business', your ENTIRELY wrong and you to think again! Adults want and rely on someone especially children to tell them if their in trouble in anyway. If no one knows about it, nothing can be done to stop it. Bullying can be prevented in our society, but remember it truly takes the effort of an entire community to do so.

Adding on, bullying can lead to and be the cause resulting in mental complications with one's self. Psychological problems and suicide rates continue to increase often from being bullied and being a bully overtime. The prevalence of suicidal ideation is higher in bullies than in a persons not involved in the bullying behavior. Studies show that among middle school and high school students that it has increased the risk of both suicidal behavior among bullies, and its victims. In anyway both the perpetrators an its victims are at the highest risk for suicide ideation and behavioral problems. Surely suicide attempts and suicidal behavior can be seen through many aspects to it happening and the "trigger" of it. However, in bullying it is clear that it occurs from low self esteem and depression taking over. Now statistically it has been found that girls have more suicidal thoughts. Researchers have found stronger associations with girls and being suicidal as said previously. Psychiatrist, van der wal and colleagues found a strong association between being bullied and depression and suicidal ideation in girls. However, psychiatrist Lukkonen and colleagues had found that being bullied and bullying others are both at potential risk factors for suicidal behaviors in girls as well.

Further, among most girls victimization at any frequency increased the risk of depression and suicidal ideation attempts. On the contrary, only frequent victimization increased the risk of depression and suicidal in boys; although the infrequent victimization increased with an increased risk of suicide attempts. According to Mental Health practitioners children who are frequently involved with bullying and cyber-bullying should be screened for psychiatric problems. The victims of bullies consistently exhibit more problems, it is evident that from (previous studies) depressive symptoms than someone is not. It's seen that they do, however high levels of suicide ideation and are more likely to attempt to commit suicide than non-victims. Over all, bullying and peer victimization lead to suicide and attempting to do so, but as you can see this varies by gender and at some points are mediated or association caused by depression or conduct affliction.

Following, bullying has become a major and obsessive problem in schools. No matter what any authority the principal, teachers, Board of education) It will still progress to become a problem
