Executive Summery

One of the exciting things in the world is designing clothing. I believe you need to have a creative mind, so you may discover that you also have the ability and interest needed to design clothes. Those who design fashions are able to use their natural talents and interests to create something entirely new to share with the world. The opportunity to design clothes is also an opportunity to share your point of view and your unique perspective. Starting and marketing a clothing line takes a great amount of time and effort, but it may be the perfect venture for someone passionate about fashion. While the substantial growth wild, there will be interesting need for logistic help to move the parts not only to the United States but around the world. And the logistics probably need changes as the industry grows as well. We have to be able to take advantage of the increased experience relative to competitors though. A clothing line is the business of making and selling our clothing designs. And while the fashion industry may seem like a glamorous business where we hobnob with celebrities and watch our cloths walk down the runway, starting a clothing line is hard work. Starting clothing line might consist of our working on our own. We'll have a lot of responsibilities, from designing the garments to producing the final product to marketing our brand.

Situation analysis:

There is a few ways that we have to consider in order to start a new clothing line.

1. Write a business plan.: we can keep it as map and the important thing is to be as specific and as realistic as possible!

2. Choose a name: there is a lot of different logos, but we have to narrow it down to one and make sure we are completely sure about it because People are going to recognize us by the logo.

3. Design the clothes and it is the fun part.

4. Produce the designs: we have to prepare the sketches to a seamstress, manufacturer, or screen printer.

5. Create a website: we have to make sure it's professional and present the line in the best light. Provide contact information, in case stores or other merchants want to get in touch with you. If we want to give people the ability to buy clothing from our website, we'll need to set up a shopping cart and merchant account then we can accept credit card payments.

6. Promote the line.

Target market

In order to define a target market, we need to build a solid foundation for our business and identify the typical customer and tailor our marketing quality accordingly. Targeting a specific market does not mean that we have to exclude people that do not fit our criteria from buying from us. Rather, target marketing allows us to focus the marketing dollars and brand message on a specific market that is more likely to buy from us than other markets. This is a much more affordable, efficient, and effective way to reach potential clients and generate business. For example the best target market for the fashion clothing line is a trendy clients the ages of 25 to 45 who like party, travel, movie and etc.

Competition

Businesses exist in a competitive environment. Some markets are highly competitive, while others are a lot less so. In clothing line there is big competitors out there even though we can be different. Fashion is a part of our DNA then we always have something new to offer. Direct competition exists where organizations produce similar products that appeal to the same group of consumers. For example when two clothing line offer the same t-shirt for sale.

Indirect competition exists when different firms make or sell product although not in head to head competition still compete for the same dollar amount in the customers pocket.

Product, Service Offering (Brand)

We demonstrate that our offerings fulfill a real rather than perceived need in such a way that the benefits are attractive to customers, users. This is our value proposition.

It's important to spend time investing in researching, defining, and building your brand. After all, our brand is the source of a promise to our consumer. It's a foundational piece in the marketing communication and one you do not want to be without.

Using the color on web site for brand is important for instance red is symbolic of power or green these days has a very environmental, or nature-centric feel. We also should think about our personality, and the personality of our brand.

We don't have to have an image as part of our logo, but if we do, it should say something and mean something.

We should choose something simple, something recognizable, something that, when people see it, they will immediately think of us. Logo imagery can be clever, even when it's simple. And it can also look professional, even when it's simple.

We have picked the name of "Lady chic" for my on line clothing line, because this name is symbolic and remind all girls of chic and classic ladies in Paris.

Price

Pricing strategies for products or services improve profits and it is related to product positioning. Our financial objectives in terms of price will be secured on how much money we intend to make from a product, how much we can sell, and what market share will get in relation to competitors. In our online company we use a high price where there is a unique brand we charge our client for luxuries.

Keys to success

What are the real keys of success for creating a business? There is some strong elements for fundamental of business.

* Research Before Writing: Before putting pen to paper on the business plan itself, there is a significant amount of research needed.

* Clear Market Opportunity: Showing a clear market opportunity in our plan requires both a description of customers who need our product or service
