Current situation:
What is happening now with the Buyers Protection Plan is that our new seasonal employees and old employees are not selling them they’ve been trained it’s that they either do not understand the program or they do not care. In which we need to figure out how to motive or staff new and old employees. There is a percent that every employee need to be at which is 5.4%.
This problem needs to change because it will be always part of our company and it affects the sales to the store in which it affect them because their hours get cut down. Also we have a lot of customer who come in with broken items that we cannot/allowed to exchange or even return for this reason we need to show them how to present it in a way where the customer knows we have their best interest in mind.
Gap Analysis/Purpose of Education:
The gap in this situation is that the employees may not have full information so they lack motivation, confidence in presenting the Buyers Protection Plan to customers. With this training we hope to fully help them understanding and get all of their questions answered as much a possible so that they are knowledgeable about what they are selling, because when a customer see an employee going out of their way to try and make sure they have their very expensive item covered.
Course Goal:
Goal for this training session is to provide as much information on the Buyers Protection Plan as possible. This goal we hope to be successful before December so that all our employees are well trained going into the season and holiday. As well for them to be able to answer any questions the customer may have about the plan, or may have concerns about the Buyers Protection Plan.
