Car Buying Decision Process – Critique
Strengths
- The report is greatly personalized. This makes it very interestingly engaging to read as it feels like you are telling a story.
- At the last stage, I like how you used the issues at the first stage to justify your final purchase decision
Weaknesses
- A lot of grammatical errors showing that the report was not reviewed/edited before posting.
- The report lacks intensity.
- Marketing terms were lacking on the report.
- The car brand VW being transposed with VM. This very confusing as I thought you were referring to a different brand.
- A visit to the dealership should have formed part of your research process. Researching on a new car should include physically seeing the car & test driving it.
- At the alternative evaluation stage, your choices should be narrowed down to make & model, not just make, but at this stage you still have an open – ended consideration set.
- No mention of the particular model that was bought. Lexus has a variety of models with different price tags. This would have helped to understand the reason behind your purchase decision.
