Career
When I finish high school I plan on becoming a fashion designer. I mainly want to work on wedding dresses and tuxedos. I find them fun and easy to work on.
First, for the most part you need your thoughts and ideas. Without them then it will be impossible for it to happen. You must be inspirational to make your work fun and admirable. You must also get opinions from the bride and groom. It doesn’t really take much to design these things just a lot of work.
Next, there are a few educational things that are important. The most important is math. You have to get the right measurements to make the outfit fit the person wearing. If you don’t know how to measure then the design will not come out perfect. The second is art, you must know how to draw or sketch. Drawing is the number one key to a design. Drawing is the basic step to making a dress or tuxedo.
Finally, a fashion designer makes up to $48,254 a year. That’s a lot of money I can really use. The best thing about designing is that you see how the people enjoy your latest creations. You might have some complaints but at least you’re making the profit. The dislikes are when you can’t make the clothes look like you want it to. It gets aggravating and frustrating.
To conclude, this career is best for me because it is who I am. I love fashion. I like to design my own clothes and other items. I also find designing wedding dresses and tuxedos fun and easy to do.
