Career Planning

Career planning is an important aspect of life, so don’t need to take much family pressure (such as expectations to work in the family business, follow a certain career path), peer pressure otherwise these can paralyze me from making any real choices, decisions or plans. Career planning is an ever changing and evolving process or journey, so I have to take it slowly. After graduation (MBA) I wish to begin a career in financial industry since I did my under graduation and graduation on Economics. Within the next two years I wish to find a position in the area where I can use my knowledge that I have the most passion about.

Most likely one can succeed in life if he/she can use his/her talent to its fullest extent. Similarly, one will suffer fewer problems if he/she knows what his/her weaknesses are and if he/she manage to overcome these weaknesses so that they don’t matter in the work he/she does. SWOT Analysis is a useful technique that helps to go about identifying strengths and weaknesses and also analyzing the opportunities and threats that flow from them. Self-analysis is one of the most complicated things to do but plays a very significant part in our personal progress. The personal skills SWOT analysis helps me to identify my strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.

Maximize my Strengths

This is the internal positive qualities which can control and on which I can capitalize. I can build up my strengths through leading treatments with motivation, always be cool minded and always following the positive work ethics. Personal distinctiveness like strong work ethic, self-discipline, ability to work under pressure, optimism or high level of energy can open an innovative career opportunity if these can be worked in my job field. Teamwork and leadership skills could open a good career opportunity as a business managers.

Overcome my Weaknesses

This is the internal negatives that can control and which I can work to improve. I can take some initiatives to overcome my weakness through participating in class discussion and communicating effectively with classmates, doing fun in my actions, increasing and acquiring a lot of experiences related to job career.
