Some people think this man was and still is corrupted, evil, or crazy. Well I think that he would be a very interesting person to meet. His name is Charles Milles Manson. This man sits in San Quinton prison in California. He is there because he was found guilty of conspiracy and 7 murders. Manson will remain there until 2012 until, he gets a parole hearing.
Charles Manson was born on November 12, 1934, to a 16 year old prostitute named Kathleen Maddox in Cincinnati, Ohio. His mother, a heavy drinker, once sold him to a waitress for a pitcher of beer. A few days later his uncle picked him up. In 1947, his mother tried to place him into a foster home but, failed. The Court then placed Manson into Gibault School for Boys in Terre Haute, Indiana. Ten months later he fled and went back to his mother, who then rejected him. Manson than robbed a grocery store so he could rent a room for a place to sleep. Later on he got caught stealing a bike and got went to an Indianapolis Juvenile Center, but escaped the next day. Again for a second time, he robbed another grocery store and got sent to an Indiana School for boys where he escaped in 1951. After this he went to prison twice. Afterwards, Manson began his “family” in the summer of 1967. The family was mostly female, they than moved into Dennis Wilson’s house in 1968. He had been a huge fan of the Beetles ever since they had came to America in 1964, when he was still in prison. He became obsessed with the song Helter Skelter, and believed it was an apocalyptic race war, which had lead to a number of murders. The family soon got arrested, and went to trial; Manson’s trial fore these murders and conspiracy was June 15, 1970, where he was found guilty He still sits in prison until this day.
This very interesting man is who I want to meet. I want to look into his eyes, listen to what he has to say, and talk to him. I have read a lot about him, seen things on the news, and researched about him. I think he has a brilliant mind. There are questions like; who? Why? What started it? Along with many other questions, I just want to hear him talk. About anything, everything, and what ever, it does not matter. We could sit in quiet, I would not mind. All I want is to meet him.
