Chicago Underground

Detective Banks fixed himself a cup of coffee under the dim light that his desk light provided. His partner, Blair Smith, sat across from him on a small wooden chair that seemed to suit him well. They simply sat there, analysing the pieces of paper that made up Louis Peroni's criminal record. They had just interrogated Mr. Peroni about Don Vitto's Crack Cocaine shipments that are entering the Chicago area sometime this month. After their last ditch effort to get any information out of Louis, they finally broke his shell. He started speaking up about the crack deal that was going down. Louis claimed that he was Vitto's middleman and that almost every bit of information would go through him before getting to Vitto.

It was now about 9:00 pm when the two Detectives where reading through Peroni's file. They wanted to make sure that this mobster's claims where true. After reading over all the documents, it seemed like his story was legitimate.

The next morning, Detectives Smith and Banks met up for some coffee, the usual ritual. Then they took their time making their way slowly to the station that was only a few blocks away. Loads of water dripped off the slanted roof of the aged police station on to the side walk, and then made its way into the sewer. As soon as the Detectives entered the station they where confronted by Officer Walgo. Officer Walgo said that Peroni had been continuously asking to speak to the detectives all night long.

In a blink of an eye Detective Banks had already made his way to the interrogation room on the 2nd floor. Smith joined him a few minutes later bringing Peroni with him at his side. Louis said that he would only give them all the information he had if they would cut him a deal leaving him with only 10 years of jail time. The two detectives agreed to grant him his request.

Peroni started explaining that in a week from now the Colombian Cartel was to drive to their warehouse in a white BMW, then exit the warehouse with all the Cocaine in a black GMC van. The Colombians are then to meet up with Don Vitto in an underground parking lot on the corner of 5th and Dalepark. This was to be the last drug deal between Don Vitto and the Colombian Cartel.
