Chik-Fil-A Chicken Sandwich Review

I like to think of myself as a manly man. And thus when I take a bite into a sandwich, I want it not only to taste good, but to feel good to my masculine needs. What could inspire such a beautiful blend? Such a magnificent mixture?

A Chick-Fil-A chicken sandwich is that sensual inspiration.

Let us begin with its alluring taste; obviously the most important factor in the creation of a good meal. Not only is the chicken itself fried to perfection in a way that leaves the taste-buds tingling, even the bread is a savory delight. In my experience, that's not something you can say about many sandwiches, who rely on complex and expensive ingredients to match the taste of the legendary chicken sandwich. The only thing "fancy" about Chick-Fil-A's dish is possibly the occasional pickle-slice, and I assure you I'm not one to complain about that.

Now, many men will tell you an unreasonable falsehood concerning food: texture is unimportant. I don't know about you, but to me texture is very important. For instance, would you want to take a big bite into a steak and unfortunately discover that it felt like mashed potatoes? I hope not. The texture of the Chick-Fil-A sandwich is not particularly interesting or surprising, but as my last example illustrates, that's probably a good thing.

Something that I think everyone agrees on when considering the good characteristics of food is a dish's smell. Not too many people can truly enjoy a meal if all the while it's reeking of old unwashed feet, even if its taste is heavenly. Thankfully this is another area in which this sandwich doesn't disappoint; its wondrous and almost decadent smell strums a chord in the nasal cavity, spurring waves of culinary lust that only one thing can truly satisfy. By this point we all know what that is.

When I eat a certain dish for the first time, I'm always worried that it will be either too much or too little. After all, I can always eat a little more, so when I order a meal I have to be fairly sure that I'll be able to finish it without regretting it later. The Chick-Fil-A chicken sandwich could perhaps be a bit more filling, but on the whole, this department's nothing to truly complain about.
