Introduction

 ‘Freedom, free time and money; they are happier than couples with children.’ According to the research director of the consumer culture department at the Dentsu Institute for Human Studies this is the reason for the increase in the number of childless families who decided not to have children at their own.

The problem of childless families is examined as a global problem of humanity  and many articles have been written on this topic.Childless couples – couples without children. In other words, the absence of children in the couple. Scholars interested in the study of this problem, because in many cases this leads to a demographic crisis, which in any case will cause damage to any state.

Scientists are considering several reasons for the growing number of childless families; for instance being childfree. For the first time term `childfree` appeared 44 years ago in California  by organization which called The National organization for Non-Parents (N.O.N.), creators were Elen Peck and Shirley Radl. The goal of  N.O.N. adhered to the idea that people can choose to live without children and it will be normal.[1] Now this movement is spreading all over the world and is no longer a phenomenon.

Infertility or inability to have children, a second  common cause of increasing the number of childless families, and in Kazakhstan  this cause is more often than being childfree. According to the statistics of West Kazakhstan Medical University, there are complex reasons of increasing of number of infertility. Firstly, life conditions and pernicious habits, secondly, it is teenage pregnancy and abortions and The human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) [2]

Currently, there are an abundant number of views and reasons of rising the number of childlessness. The aim of this paper is to investigate causes of the problem, analyze them from the perspectives of economy, medicine and psychology, and investigate suitable solutions for Kazakhstan.
