Christianity and Islam
Christianity believes that Jesus is the son of God and that Jesus is part of the three parts of God.Christianity believes that Jesus was sentinels to death by the Sanhedrin. Islam teaches that Jesus was one of the most important Prophets and was human. They do not believe that He is the son of God. They believe that Jesus was born miraculously by the Virgin Mary it was similar to Adams birth.
Muslims believe the Quran was direct word of God to Muhammad. The Quran was Muhammad most important miracle. They believe the Quran is the only book that He has protected from distortion and or corruption.Muslims believe that Muhammad was the perfect believer and don't believe him to be a god.Christians believe that he is a false prophet

The crusades began in 1095 when the Christians responded to Pope Urbans plea to go to war against the Muslims in the holy lands.The Christians recaptured Jerusalem in the first crusade. But that lasted only a short time. Muslims attacked and captured Edssa which was the northern Crusader state? The capture leads to the second crusade. Through the 13th century crusaders tried to gain control of the holy land but that lead in failure. Thibault IV of Champagne was able to recapture Jerusalem but only for a short time. They also brought in new food products like rice, lemons, surgery, and some spices.
