There are many similarities and differences between Christianity and Judaism, some of the world's most established religions. From the origins, to the ideals, these religions are closely interwoven into each other. Also, there are many major differences between them. As a whole, Christianity and Judaism share many ideals and have many different things about them.

First, they both have a number of people that appear in both of their history's. For example, Abraham, Adam and Eve, Josiah, David, and countless others appear both in the Jewish Torah and the Christian Bible. Christianity was adapted from Judaism, so many Christian beliefs are actually Jewish. Both of the religions have Abraham’s descendants going to Egypt and being enslaved. This shows how closely the two religions are connected, Also, it shows how both peoples of the religions agree on different subjects, like creation. Another reason of how they are alike is their stories. For example, the whole Old Testament of the Christian Bible is in the Torah. Stories like the Exodus out of Egypt, the Ten Commandments, the Tower of Babel, and others are in both religions. This shows how they are intertwined with one another and they show they share many moral stories. All in all, Christianity and Judaism share many of the same people and stories.

Both of the religions are actually very different from each other. For instance, in Christianity Jesus is the savior while in Judaism Jesus doesn't really stand out. Christians believe Jesus is God, he died for their sins, and was brought back from the dead. In Judaism, none of this ever appears. Jesus is not shown as a divine being. This shows how the creators of the religions did not think the same way. Christianity shows more of miracles while in Judaism God is a major subject. Another example of how they are different is their origin story. For instance, Abraham was the founder of Judaism over 3,800 years ago. Judaism originated as a result of the covenant between God and Abraham. Jesus Christ and Paul were the founders of Christianity around 7 BC. This shows us Judaism was founded way before Christianity was. Also, while the birth of Jesus starts Christianity, it ends Judaism's history. Overall, Jesus is very different in both religions as well as the origin.

Another reason why they are different is the amount of followers the religions have.
