Christmas Season

Christmas season is not just about merry-making. It is a time to welcome God in our hearts. It is a time of appreciation and thanks giving for all the good things that happened to us. We must thank Him for creating these green and leafy creatures because without them, none of us would have live and survive. They provide the air we breathe, the foods we eat, and other materials/goods that we use in our everyday life.

The wrappers that we used in wrapping our gifts, the composition of those paper bags that we brought home after shopping, the decorations that we used in beautifying our homes and all other stuff that are renowned this holiday season like the foods that we prepare in our tables, the fruits that we collect in relation to some super superstitious beliefs, the plants that we display like the poinsettia that gives radiance in our place, the well-known puto bumbong alongside of the streets, the colourful lanterns giving light to every corner of the avenue and houses as well; we may not know, but the materials in making all of these and the thing itself came from the environment, from the plants, from the trees -from the forests.
