Cloning is Wrong

Cloning is wrong and immoral. In our society today, cloning humans is a questionable technology. We have only scratched the surface on cloning. Cloning is a tool that has come to us but should never be used. Cloning is a not a natural process, most people think of it as playing God, and the ability to clone humans could bring devastating consequences.

Cloning is definitely not a natural process, by means of human intervention. Although cloning does happen all the time. Twins are proof of this. Cloning to me is when scientists actually go and create a living thing by using genetic information from another organism. When this process is used, a genetic copy is created. Cloning is not natural anyway one could put it.

Creating a copy of life sounds as if we are playing God. God is the only one in charge of everyone's life. He decides who lives or not, or in this case who gets cloned in the womb. If we take control of this technology then we would be held the title the creator of life. I don't want to go against my religion and be a part of a society that clones humans and other organisms.

In the future cloning could have devastating consequences to the world. Cloning humans could help a small country provide troops to take over the world. Cloning soldiers is not so much science fiction anymore. World leaders could one day be cloned and controlled by the government. Also athletes could be cloned for their natural ability to be athletic.

Cloning is a tool that has come to us but should never be used. Cloning is not a natural process, most people think of it as playing God, and the ability to clone humans could bring devastating consequences. I think that cloning is definitely wrong and immoral. Cloning an organism isn't even that effective in the first place. Scientists tried many times before they cloned the sheep Dolly the right way. So we shouldn't waste more money trying to figure out cloning and raising even more questions.
