COLOMBIAN SPANISH, THE BEST IN THE WORLD
“Colombia has the glorious tradition of cultivation the language, because since the independence the eminents were worried for cultivating it” (Garcia; 1993). The importance of the Colombian Spanich comes from the early times of the colony and Colombian people try to conserve it, specially in the Andean Region (BogotÐ"ÐŽ, MedellÐ"n, Pasto, PopayÐ"ÐŽn) where people talk the purest spanish in Colombia.
Through the years, Colombian people have had the preoccupation of promoting the use of Spanish language in a good way. People have the commitment to develop it. It is evidenciating in Colombian education because teachers and parents promote the Spanish education correcting children when they use words, verbal tenses or grammar rules badly.
Besides, “Probably in no one country spanish-speaking have written so many excelents linguistics works about the lexic of spanish variety inside its borders as Colombian people have published in colombia” (Haensch and Werner;1993). Colombia is fortunate for having like sons illustrious writters as Rafael Pombo, Tomas Carrasquilla y Gabriel GarcÐ"a MÐ"ÐŽrquez (Literatura Nobel Prize) who create the reading culture and makes that people learn reading how to speak with a good spanish giving a better use to our native language.
Colombian Spanish is the best around the world. In comparisson with other spanish-speaking, Colombian people are more careful about the language structure, neutrality tone, clarity and precition. For example, when Colombian people is with other latinoamerican people who speak spanish is identified clearly because the other people use a lot of modism and different accents that sometimes make difficult understand what they are saying.
For Colombia to have the best Spanish in the World has carried on a lot of opportunities. In the world, there are a lot of companies that have a good customer service and they have sevice calling center for their spanish speaking consumers. For example, “Citibank moved its service calling center from Barcelona to BogotÐ"ÐŽ, action that generated 400 new works in the second South American capital” (Bogota вЂ" Colpas).
