I believe that conservation means that humans would have regulate the use of the nature. Preservation on the other hand means to keep the way nature has left it and not in the hands of humans. I do not feel that humans can harvest forest resources in an environmental way. By harvesting forest resources humans will be disturbing their natural state. An example of this would be if they wanted to drill for oil that would mean they would have to build roads and there would be machinery brought in and this would disturb the animals and the beautiful trees of the forest. Drilling for oil would also pollute the air that is so clean. I believe that the national forest should be left in their natural state and the resources should not be used to benefit humans. I believe humans have taken enough away from the environment so I do not believe a place like Bridger Teton National Forest should be disturbed just so humans can get more oil in which humans are not going to conserve. I believe there are other places oil can be found. We need a place to be able to take our children and grandchildren to be able to show them that life can be beautiful without having a car or watching television. Humans are always in a hurry and never take the time to see what harm they are doing until they are able to come to a place like Bridger Teton National Forest. Let us preserve the few places we have left instead of being greedy by wanting to take everything from the land that is wild and untouched.
