The Washington Redskins home stadium is the FedEx Field. The stadium itself can be effectively conveyed through the five senses. The thousands of people in attendance, the players from both teams, and the officials of the game along with other elements that can also be conveyed with all of the senses.
From the moment I arrived at my seat all I could see was many different people. All of whom were wearing either bright red or white Redskins jerseys. A lot of the fans had different items in hand. The person to my left had a large foam finger while the person to my right had a loud blow horn. The crowd was so into the game that every other minute I saw each row perform the wave. Finally, the game was about to start and the teams were being introduced. I saw my favorite player Clinton Portis, he was wearing that jersey with the number 26 stitched to it neatly.
Along with the sound of the blow horn directly in my ear, I heard the loud cheering of the crowd. The loudness of the crowd was so intense that I couldn't even hear my self speak. With all of the sounds going off at once, the game started with an even louder blow of the whistle from the referees.
The open style of the stadium was very helpful to my sense of smell. The first scent that would catch anyone's attention is somewhat of fresh air. There was also a mixture of different kinds of smells. A variety of people's cologne and perfume, not to mention the person sitting next to me who had way to much on. Also the various foods sold from venders caught my sense of smell. The smell of the hot dog being eaten by the person two rows in front of me caught my attention the most.
The smell of the hotdogs was so good I couldn't resist not eating one. They tasted very delicious. After eating the delicious hotdogs I felt athirst so I had to find a drink of some sort to wash it down with. So I bought a soda and it was nice and cold. It was in a 16 ounce bottle and the heat of being outdoors made the bottle moist.
By eating and drinking I have to use my ands and obviously I had to use my sense of touch. Other than the food I also touched the seats, and other people who I celebrated touch downs with. While I was seating at my seat there were lots of crumbs and candy on the floor which stuck to my shoe.
Overall, the FedEx field
