The main business of Honda is manufacturing motorcycles, SUV's, mini cars and power products. It also provides services to the customers. Honda is ranked number one for manufacturing of motorcycles, and is ranked number one in Japan and ranked five worldwide for manufacturing of cars. Honda has got a huge network with more than 500* subsidiaries and present in more than 100* countries around the globe. The number of employees according to 2012 report was 179,190. Honda not only deals in manufacturing of cars and motorcycles but also in making industrial robots. The best example of robot manufactured by Honda is Asimo. Major products of Honda are as follows.

The vision of Honda has the following two basic principles

ii. Three joys:
Joy of selling: selling Honda products and services to the customers.
Joy of buying: this is for the customers who buy Honda products.
Joy of creating: in creating new and innovation products.

ENVIRONMENTAL INITIATIVES
Honda is always concerned about the environment. It is because of this Honda is manufacturing those engines and vehicles which emits less CO2. In 2010, Honda took initiatives and cleaned 19 beaches in Japan as a part of its concern towards environment.

According to this strategy the company aims at improving the changing business environment and financial performance of the business.
