Introduction

The cruises business seems to be an old and profitable business model, though it grew up some decades ago. Due to the globalization and changes on the customers needs, the idea of offering people more destinies and mixing up different range of activities came up for the cruises business people. Cruising had been going for a lot of decades, but the new idea of business model comes from the 70's. Then was when companies from North America started changing this business and making it more and more popular, till turning it one of the most important world tourism businesses.

Resistant to different crises, from the 90's decade and until these days it has a annual growth of 8'5%. It continued developing and few people think that is going o stop in the years. Bunch of different options and possibilities are suitable for the customers and each year there are more and more cities where to go. There's is where AIDA Cruises appears. Since the first cruise (Clubship AIDA, now AIDAcara) the brought into the market in 1996, the company had a permanent growth. The new concepts of the Clubship cruises they marketed from their creation have made them gain a great position between the family, entertainment and activity cruises. They have 10 cruises into the market and a couple more ships ordered. One is for 2015 and the other for 2016, having an agreement with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries for the construction. With a gross tonnage of 125,000 tones and unknown name yet, these new two are going to be biggest of the company.
