In the Missouri facility, Huffman utilizes a token ring network topology. In a token ring network each computer connects directly to the next computer in line. Once the computer in this network receives a signal, it then passes that signal to the next computer in only one direction around the ring in the network. Physical elements of this system utilize CAT 5 wiring, IPX/SPX protocols. St. Louis facility use Cisco networking equipment such as Cisco routers, Cisco 10 mb hubs and switches. Novell network products are also utilized such as Novell Border Manager and Novell 4.11 server. Mail service use here is Lotus Notes. Apple Talk is the lone voice telecommunication used. The internet browser used for the Missouri location is Netscape Corporate browser with T1 broadband connection. Software applications used are Norton anti-virus, arcServe backup software and firewall protection.
In the New Jersey facility, the bus topology is utilized. Telecommunication service used includes PBX telephone system with intercom (POTS), but no voice mail or caller id. Firewall is also not used in this system. CAT 3 wiring is used for the network. AOL Mail service is used for email access. IIS 4.0 Web server is the lone server used in this system. There also is a fax 28.8 modem utilized. Operating systems used were in Window 2.x, 9.x environments.

Netscape corporate browser is what the Ohio location used to access the internet and Fractional T1 is the broadband connection utilized. IPX/SPX protocol is also available in this system.
