Verbal communication is the process of processing ones feeling thru words or voice. Effective communication is based upon knowledge of the spoken subject, clarity of speech and composure of one's behavior. Verbal communication is important when discussing maters with your boss or supervisor.

Non-verbal communication is the process of using hand gestures, facial expressions, tone and body language as well as distance between the sender and receiver. Non-verbal communication provides examples such as head shaking to respond yes or no, while shoulder shrugs means that one is ok or someone is fine with the suggestion or process.

How to Develop Demonstrative Communication Skills Demonstrative communication is the process of including nonverbal and unwritten communication and involves such things as facial expressions, tone of voice, body language. Demonstrative communication can express a message alone or can be used to improve verbal communication and consist of a large part of how we communicate. Smiles can be misunderstood as friendly and happy to sad and weak.
