CHAPTER I

PROBLEM AND ITS BACKGROUND

Introduction

            Computer programming is the one who became in demand for the past few years in this generation. Nowadays knowing how to program is easily. Acknowledging the importance of programming is to help more and to grow up innovative and efficient community. To have more knowledge and skills in programming will gives you to know the technology in the world works. Learning to the code a program will help each other to improve ability, to solve the problem and to developing logical skills. One of the parts of computer programming is Visual Basic.Net (VB.Net) which is kind of programming language, VB.Net is human language and friendly user, with the help of this programming language can developed a website or application. Visual Basic.Net (VBG.NET) will help students to create Financial Records and how to it can be developed Logical Skills. Using Visual Basic.Net (VB.Net) will uncover new techniques.

            This study contains information about how to use financial records using Visual Basic, in this way the knowledge of a student can be further developed and further expanded into the analysis. It can also identify different ways in which such coding can be done a financial records using Visual Basic.Net (VB.Net) which provides a comprehensive analysis of a student who studies it.

Background of the Study

            Basically the students in the early years commonly rely on books when it comes to studying. Where they were given an assignment or research works at once they go to the library pick and uses several groups to read in order to complete and gathered information for their research. Even though this kind of habit really helps students to be more efficient and effective in researching still we have to find ways where the students can be able to make their work fast and easy more logically in reasoning. We come up on the study in order to help the students develop their Logical Thinking Skills with the use of technology. Computers using Visual Basic.Net (VB.Net) mostly for the Grade 12 students in order to prepare them for college, with this it will be easier for the learners to encode many things such as their financial records. This study will also help prepare students to be more competitive since our country is more highly when it comes to technology.

Statement of the Problem

            This study aims to develop and improve the logical skill through the use of Visual Basic.Net (VB.NET). Determining the essence of using Visual Basic.Net (VB.Net) to enrich Logical Skills. Specially, this study seeks to answer following question:

1. What are the ways of developing logical skills in encoding financial records?
2. Why should the logical skills of Grade12 students be developed in encoding Financial Records using VB.Net?
3. What is the importance of developing logical skills using VB.Net?

Significance of the Study

            This study of developing logical skills of grade 12 students encoding financial records using VB.Net at ICC can be a learning guide to all grade 12 students at ICC to grow more their logical skills using VB.Net. Researcher believe that this study will give benefits to the following.

1. Programmers – this study will serve as a guide to programmers who has a problem and difficulties on how they are going to enhance and improve their skills using VB.Net.
2. Future Researcher – this study will help the researcher in conducting related studies in the future.
3. Students – this study will serve as a guide to students who has hard times learning logical how to improve their logical skills using VB.Net.

Scope and Delimitation

            This study is only limited to the students of Informatics Colleges Cavite during the Academic year 2018 – 2019. The focus of this study is to know the Developing Logical Skills of Grade 12 Students Encoding Financial records using VB.Net at ICC. The researcher will only obtain from 30 grade 12 students in three sections of senior high school and will used survey type questionnaire. The data obtained will used in making the conclusion and will be used in any other information.
