Dirty Pretty Thing

The Dirty Pretty Thing is about illegal immigrant sell their kidney in exchange for cash or a fake passport. The donation of kidney and other human organs was very low that it was far from making the demand of human organs. Since the supply was so low, the price for human organ was very high. However, no matter how much the price offered not much people accept the offer. For illegal immigrant, the biggest incentive was the fake passport that enabled them and their family became a legal resident. In a way, I feel very bad for the illegal immigrant. They were taken advantage of and being bully by the legal ones. I totally understood why they suffered all of this in order to come to that place. To me, INS played an important role. The INS made the illegal immigrant so afraid, desperate that they put in that awful choice; they do not have any other resorts but to accept this option. I think that government should enforce the immigrant policy more loose. At the same time, the government should morally protect these illegal immigrants. I think that this movie really point out the terrible life of illegal immigrant. It really gave me a second thought about illegal immigrant. I always thought they were the one who do illegal activity and steal other peopleÐŽ¦s job. Now, I considerate how desperate they need to survive in this foreign land. We also noticed that we need to make more organ donation to help people.
