Houses come in many different sizes and shapes, but there is something diverse with mine. It might be because it belongs to my family or there really is something that sticks out more than other homes in the area. Maybe it is the location, or even the color of the house. Most people think their residence is the best place in the world and my feelings fall into that category. In my judgment, my home is by far the greatest place to hang out with friends or family. There are numerous reasons why the building on Foch St. is the best place to be.
The outside of the structure isn't anything extraordinary but it does have some unique characteristics. The shade is a really light green vinyl almost like the color of a grass stain that moms can't get out. It is a single story house with two large sets of windows on each side of the front of the house. The front door is in the middle with a balcony over it. There is a cement set of steps with three steps to the entrance. It has a pointed roof in center of the house parallel to the road and it levels off on each side of the house. The shingles are brand new and as black as charcoal. All the carpentry around the house is freshly painted a crisp white.
The landscaping around the house is very appealing. The front of the house has a dozen shrubs knee high from corner to corner with bark all around them. People can still smell the freshly paved hot top. At the right time someone can catch the sprinkler system watering the grass which looks like it belongs at a golf coarse. The tree to the right of the house was recently planted so it is still just a few feet tall. There is a big back yard, roughly a football field size which is all open except for the backside of the lawn. The backside of the lawn has six enormous pine tree's that stand several hundred feet tall. The pine tree's are at least 75 years old in age.
The way the land works is kind of unique. It starts at road level and declines till it gets to the bottom corner of the basement giving us a nice daylight basement. There are several big windows in the basement and back of the house to let a lot of light in. there is also a sliding glass door to enter in the basement. After the sloop hits the back of the house it is perfectly level all the way to the tree line. There are also no houses around, just open fields with long grass all around the vicinity.
