Donald Gaskins is an organized hedonistic serial killer that should be listed in the
lust or thrill killer subtype.
He came from a broken home in South Carolina, where his mother had several
male lovers, who abused Donald mentally, and physically through his childhood and his
mother did little or nothing to protect him.
Not surprisingly he had problems in school and was the subject of “intense”
discipline from teachers.
Gaskins spent time in juvenile reform school, where he was gang raped, and in
prison where he killed other inmates to create a name for himself.

Donald Gaskins killed people “recreationally” which he said was for people he
knew nothing about, and “seriously” which was reserved for acquaintances of his.
He claims to have killed between 80 and 90 people in his recreational killings.

victims as if it was all about control and personal gratification. He stated that the
brutality of the torture and killings were a release from his bothersome feelings.
Many times he would torture his victims by eating their body parts in front of
them,
